Eighteen Station Road has long been in the family — four generations of it. A little station shop selling sweets, then Parthenon, one of the oldest and best-known dry cleaners in the Cape, and — because we’re Greek, and we can’t go a generation without feeding people — Leesia’s Greek Taverna, where you ate, danced, and broke a plate or two. Same corner, same building, a different reason to come in each time.

Inside it’s light and easy — low couches, plants, art on the walls and the kettle’s usually on. The windows look onto the station’s trees, green most of the year. Sit down and you won’t be in a rush to leave.
